I formed Red Kite Geomatics in 2022, after selling a successful geospatial and utility survey company that I formed and ran for over 20 years.

I’ve been a dedicated land & utilities surveyor since 1993, and have specialised in Ministry of Defence, power generation, communications and nuclear sectors, along with having extensive experience in a huge variety of areas such as hospitals, prisons, airfields, schools & universities, petrochemical, clean & waste water processing works etc. From topographic surveys in the Scottish Highlands, to GPR & utility surveying around the Houses of Parliament, there are few environments that I’ve not worked in!

The sale of my former company and setting up of Red Kite Geomatics, was geared around a relocation to Mid-West Wales and re-adjusting the work / life balance!

My passion for investigative utilities mapping & geospatial surveying, combined with the knowledge, experience and technical expertise gained from a career spanning 30+ years, enables me to take a genuine pride and satisfaction in producing high quality surveys.

Whilst my career has previously been centred around surveying national assets and critical infrastructure; with RK Geomatics my focus is on smaller, more conventional surveys in Mid, West and South Wales. If the survey is important to you, it is important to me!
